Sinos

Except for her grandmother Nubis, Sinos comes from a family with very strong resemblances to each other. Her direct family is very close, with dragons staying in touch over long distances, and when the time came for her to leave the nest, Sinos chose to join her aunt Aella in the area of light.

She was both delighted and intimidated to find that her aunt had already integrated herself into a society of what appeared to be another imposing wildclaw family, as well as dozens of Spiral dragons. Aella, as her brother and his wife before, had chosen to go the path of the hunter. Sinos boosts impressive speed and agility herself, but is more reluctant to follow the family tradition. Her family appears to have the position well in hand, and she does not wish to compete with them. And of course she is trying to be her own person as well.

Trying to carve ouut her place in such a busy environment, she has been entertaining herself by acting out. Playing tricks on other dragons comes easy to her. Aided by her inventiveness and quick intellect, she concocts new traps and jests daily, bringing both joy and chagrin to her fellow clanmates. She has known Spiral mentality from birth, having been looked after on many occasions by her parents' clanmate Shen, who is like a second father to her. This ensures that while showy and confusing, her traps never cause lasting injury to her new family.

Her antics have not gone unnoticed, however. And one day, she found herself approached by the Cirrus, the clan's local Skydancer. During their conversation, it transpired that he admired her ability to assess situations in seconds - and to keep track of her newfound noodle charges. Cirrus asked for Sinos's help in keeping the clan safe from predators, and in making sure none of the dragons get lost in the forest or the Hewn City.

Sinos was delighted, and immediately agreed. She is now spending her time inventing - early warning systems for the clan, entertainment for the Spirals, and whatever other thing she can get her hands on.
