Ranger // Scavenger // Wildclaw Councillor: Lightning Formerly a loner from the Shifting Expanse, Shari was worried she might miss the harsh beauty of the desert. Rolling dunes, wind-sculpted mesas and buttes, the electricity in the air... but it turned out she swapped it for somewhere she finds just as beautiful. Both have beautiful coasts but everything else is so different. The lush green and deep shadows feel like home, full of the sounds of life, and she is particularly fond of the Gladeveins. Her Electric Nymph enjoys skipping rocks (and sparks) over the water, while Shari herself lies with her talons in cool water. So much water! Shari knows this place is changing her. Originally she came because she wanted it 'easy' for a while, so she could build up some personal treasure and go back to the desert sleek, and rich. Her direct personality and the way she speaks her mind can still come across as abrasive, however she feels so - well, happy. Bone deep happiness. Hunting is still a challenge but now she has a group to hunt with. More than just colleagues, many dragons here are friends. And she's starting to soften, to be able to joke without coming across as harsh as the desert she left behind. No matter how she changes, she's keeping her skull collection though! Luckily her mate Aeo has similar tastes. Before the clan formed, pair were put in touch by Surety when both answered her advertisement and were accepted. They communicated via messages, and quickly became close, making the courier-dragons on the route between the Shifting Expanse and the Sunbeam Ruins very busy for a while. They exchanged frequent letters that soon shifted from professional to personal, and one thing led to another. Shari was expecting it to just be a fling before her final payday and return to the desert, but this is for life. Shari and Aeo became the first new parents in the clan. |
