|| BackgroundUnlike many, Ralolas was not hatched to a Flight. Her egg cracked open on the road, born to one of the many travelling caravans that travel Sornieth's lands in yearly cycles. During their journey, her parents met and laid their eggs in the Ashfall Waste; however, Lola does not consider herself a Fire dragon at all. Rather, she was raised by her mother's family, who ran the caravan; a proud legacy of traveling entertainers with Shadow heritage. Most of Lola's childhood was spent bouncing from place to place, rarely staying in a clan for more than a week before taking their leave.
Even from a young age, it quickly became obvious that Lola was exceptionally gifted with magic. Her first act of sorcery was a dramatic explosion that left her with her striking, multicolored scales; the enchantment is permanent and has not faded in all the years since. After this incident, she was taken under the wing of the troupe's resident mage, who taught her everything they knew about spellcasting and magic. Lola ate it up eagerly, and quickly surpassed her teacher in everything but discipline.
Though she enjoyed the life she grew up in, Lola realized that she didn't want to spend her whole life going from place to place, quickly being forgotten after the wagons rolled out of sight. She began to keep her eye out for a place to hop off and start a new life for herself. There were a few clans that interested her, but it wasn't until the caravan diverted their usual path to visit the newly noteworthy Rara Avis that she really felt static ground calling her. Within a few days, Lola hopped off and declared that here she would stay; after a tearful goodbye, she made good on that promise, and was given space to open up an enchantment shop and mage service on Rara Avis' Promenade.
|| CurrentWith her obvious talent and valuable services, Lola quickly became a valuable amenity to her new clan. She never truly left behind her life of showmanship; even when doing magic for coin, she is ostentatious, her acts of sorcery just as much a show as they are useful. Even dragons not interested in her services will gather to simply watch her work. The eclectic performances were somewhat dampened when her shop space was altered to be a collaboration between her and the antiques dealer Yorihime, but she hasn't let that stop her!
Lola enjoys her new life off the road. She is well-loved in Rara Avis for her sharp wit, unique mannerisms and charm, and she even enjoys butting heads with the card shark Jacks who sometimes tries to muscle in on her audience. Here, she's more than glad to supply a valuable service while making a serious name for herself. Never let the name of Ralolas Shaari be forgotten!

|| Notes◈ Lola and her coworker Yorihime have a relationship that is hard to pin down. They argue quite a bit, but when push comes to shove, they seem to be friends. At least they're good at running their shop together.
◈ Lola chose her own name— Ralolas— when she came out as female; however, she quickly began to prefer the nickname 'Lola'. There are very few dragons who know it's a nickname at all!
◈ Motley was picked up at a fair Lola went to during her travelling days, specifically when she was visiting the Viridian Labyrinth. The Zalis is almost as big as she is, and she has trained him to perform in some of her enchantments as well as carry messages for her.
◈ Lola has hereditary chronic pain in the form of fibromyalgia, which she copes with by consuming pain-relief potions. Still, she sometimes has her off days, and has to take breaks from the shop every so often.
◈ Unlike her coworker, Lola's private den is in the back of their shop. She keeps a great deal of knicknacks and small treasures in it that she picked up while travelling, as well as accommodating her familiar's nest.
◈ Lola is in her mid-thirties.
