Ijiraq never asked for this.
A family legacy of fighting. Endless turmoil, death, and sadness. The dragons in the Order of Runes were miserable. They only ended up here through massacre, or slavery, or personal loss. Ijiraq never felt a part of it. She learned the way of the blade, but her magic never flowed right, and her blade never really struck true. She felt out of place, alone, and lost. Even her eyes are wrong; born into Light, with blazing Plague eyes. She couldn't even connect with her birthplace.
It wasn't until she left did she realize that it was the voices that made her feel so ill at ease.
The Shade had infected her brother, but he had infected her, just the slightest bit, through her eggshell. While she grew, so did it, wrapping around her mind, stunting her magic, forcing her hand to tremble with the blade, making her feel like she didn't belong. And by the time she had it figured out, there was absolutely nothing she could do about it.
Ijiraq is a sullen drake, tied to her fate. She has a short fuse, and doesn't want to talk about herself for even a second. While she prefers solitude, she can be convinced to work in a group with great success. Underneath her self-loathing, she is a loyal dragon with a heart of gold, you just have to pick through the ice first.
