It was Scarpo who approached her first.

"So...." Scarpo had started, and Zoloft couldn't quite place his movements. The Guardian spoke with use of her frills, yes, but the emotions and message seemed clouded.

"So?" Zoloft asked, deeply confused. Her frills twitched.

"So...." Scarpo's eyes darted around frantically, until he just sighed in what seemed to be defeat. "Look, Cal's gonna kill me for this, but I think you should talk to him." Then he looked around furtively, lowered his voice, and continued, "If anyone asks, Nebb put me up to it."

This was only more confusing. Talk to Calvin? Zoloft wasn't opposed to the idea, no, but she was confused as to why Scarp had to tell her that.

Nebb wasn't much help, either.
