Tsai

Like Ronin, Tsai was deprived of love and care from her family, which was quite large, because she couldn't achieve something; for her, it was flight. Imperials were expected to fly in less than a week or so after hatching, yet she was unable to. She was left in the dark woods helpless and in danger until Noi and the Gladekeeper's emissary found her.

Tsai was given care from the emissary, who built special braces for her wings that enabled her to move them. Soon, she was able to flap them, then soar short distances, and then she grew to be one of the best fliers in the Clan, hunting insects and birds (much to the dismay of Kaida, a good friend of hers). She owed her talent to the Gladekeeper's emissary, and they became very close friends.

Though she chose the brave Jiao, one of her first friends in the Clan, as a mate, Tsai had somewhat of a little relationship with the emissary. Jiao often wondered how Tsai's "stomach hurt after swallowing a fly" every week and why she spent so long in the den of the Gladekeeper's emissary. It seemed he was the only one who didn't know why.
