Sold his soul for science, for knowledge.

His pearl is tainted and his voice is robotic. His horn is dark and his skin is cracked, but he is strong. He knows the power of magic, of the earth. He wields it. He does not feel fear anymore, nor anger, nor joy. He is but an exploding orb of knowledge and information. He knows too much. The future, the past, the present: they all are stripped bare before him. But the information stays contained. He is aware of its power and what it can do to dragons that still behold their own souls.

He is beautiful to behold, but most dragons feel a strange vibe coming from him and stay their distance. Perhaps they feel the void where his soul once was. Or perhaps they feel the power of the extent of knowledge reverberating from his being, like an intense heartbeat.

Kiminonawa was not deterred, however. Perhaps her soul colliding with a comet made her less afraid of the power he beheld inside. He cannot fathom love or attachment from a personal standpoint, but he can appreciate it and find subtle beauty in it.

He found a Phoenix in the ashes of a fallen star. It was different, like him; not like the other familiars of the land. He sought to "raise" it as an act to appear like a normal dragon and also because he knew the power and knowledge it too was capable of.

Starlord doesn't remember his parents, his siblings, or his birth-clan; at least not in a personal sense. He knows the facts that his eyes and lineage prove. But he does not recall the attachments he may have once had. Do not pity him though. Though he cannot feel regret, he is certain that he would not feel any for making this decision. He assumes his original self knew what he wanted and was willing to take such a risk/leap for it. He commends his soul-intact version for that decision.
