Lost in the Past
When she first opened her eyes, two pairs of blue orbs stared directly back at her, and immediately she felt drawn to them. Perhaps that was how it was, the nature of things. She didn't understand a word they said, but the boy with the long neck made pretty sounds. And she knew that she liked him the most. The big brown dragon looked really scary, but he was just a big sweetheart deep inside him. He kept saying Charli occasionally, but she never knew who or where this 'Charli' was. Too bad for that dragon then, at least she could keep them both to herself! Today, Charli learned that the pretty sounds Justy made were called a yodel! Charli didn't understand why Justy was stern during the yodel lessons, but she didn't mind at all. So what was this 'orphan' thing the boys were talking about behind her back?  |

Juvenile Years
She never did regret it. The scars weren't long lasting and she wasn't too hurt. At least she could still fly, albeit not as well as before, and probably never better in the future, but she had no regrets. Charli was born in the sand dunes of the Earth kingdom, that much she knew. Fridr told her everything, from how they had found her and why they kept her. And to that she was greatful. Falling into the burning craters in Ashfall Waste was the worst mistake she had done. But it had shaped her to who she is. Since then, Charli had grown to be stronger, independent, and selfless. To others, it might seem like a tragedy. But Charli had never regretted taking that leap off Fridr's shoulders and into the rocks and smoke. |

Legacy
Serving the clan as a messenger and a mage was no easy feat, but she loved her role. As one of the founding members of her clan, Charli took pride in every step she took and every advice she gave. With her powers of Levitation, gifted upon her from birth by the great Arcanist that lived beyond all folklore, Charlli became the first line of defence for the little ones in her clan. Maybe it wasn't right to be born with purple eyes, or maybe it wasn't right to be born with colors of Nature, or maybe it wasn't right to claim the birthright of a Wind species. To Charli, the world can judge her as they pleased. She knew that they fear her, of her powers, and that was ok. That simply shows that the rumors handed down with generation was wrong. Mismatching colors of her eyes and body, mismatching species and flight; these make the individual stronger, gifted with more than one element's power combined. The truth will remain buried among the founders of her clan. The New World has been tough, and Charli has no intention of waging a intercontinental war. |
