Xaria has an active approach to leadership of her guild. Despite her many followers and underlings that are perfectly willing to do the dirty work for her, she is often found digging through ruins herself, both out of her natural joy in her work, and out of an attitude that if you want something done right you need to do it yourself. Every tiny arrowhead and bone knife is important to her, as part of someone's long-forgotten story, and is worthy of preserving. The love of her life, Rylan, carefully studies every tiny artifact that she finds to treasure.

She is not exceptionally religious, but gives credence to both Earthshaker, Haven, and/or Phileo when she feels the need to invoke a deity. She would rather conveniently ignore the academy's emerging factions, choosing instead to concentrate on exploration and scholarship and hoping her underlings will eventually see reason and work together again. After all, acknowledging the problem just gives it more traction in everyone's minds, right?
