Biography
one of Celeana's babes she gave to me. he sat unnamed for years and Celeana and I would call him that. Normally I hate unnamed dragons, but unnamed was his name to us. I decided to take this inside joke and make it part of his lore.
"Is he a light dragon? In a shadow clan? No, no, that can't be right, can it? Look again; he clearly belongs here, right? What did he say his name was again? SineNomine? Isn't "sine nomine" Latin for "without a name"? Who is he? What is he doin- oh, stars, he saw me! I'm dead, super dead. Attis, make sure to put satin violets and black tulips on my grave."
"Calm down, Angel. We're level twenty-five. I have eliminate. He can't hurt us. Besides, what's so wrong with a light dragon in the Tangled Wood?" Angel did a nervous spin, and promptly ignored him being insulted by her jab at the light flight.
"Oh, come one, Attie, doesn't he scare you?"
"You are no longer a hatchling. Don't call me that."
"Avoiding the question, Attie." To which, Attis emitted a low snarl not unlike a sickle kamaitachi.
"Greetings, young ones." The imperial had reached them, not completely unexpected, but much quicker, much stealthier, than they anticipated. It should be noted that such made Attis involuntarily step back while Angel did not.
"You know, most dragonkind say "hey" or "hello there"." Angel, upon reconsidering her position and the imperial's stance, amended her statement by tacking on an awkward "sir" to the end.
"Oh, you have my sincerest apologies, hatchling." SineNomine did not lung forward or make any sort of notion to attack; he didn't even look displeased. In fact, he appeared rather amused by Angel's frank retort. It unsettled Attis, who was not much of a social dragon to began with, and made him feel insignificant because his social role, the superior, cynical imperial, was being replaced by this stranger. It urked him so, especially since it was with his understudy, and friend, Angel, who he personally saved from exaltation and took in as his own despite their separate genealogies.
"If you have a problem, do not harass Angel for she does not know when to stop. Even so, she is in my stead, an extension of myself. So, take it up with me." Attis spoke a little lower while addressing SineNomine, even though his voice was gravely enough your bare feet would throb. SineNomine's voice, however, was like thick and smooth like honey though it was far from sweet.
"Oh, lovely brethren, if this darling, Angel, is linked to you and I speak with her, aren't I technically talking to you?"
"Would you rather bite the tail and annoy the head, or do a strike to the head and forego the tail all together?"
"Touché, brethren." The imperial bared a teethy grin."However, my intentions resemble nothing near bickering with protectores nostrae. It is quite the opposite."
"Hah, what does that mean? You wanna help us fight?" Angel found this notion strange, but quickly realized this was not a joke on the imperial's end.
"I noticed you only have two on your team, and with the beastclans growing in power and shadow losing any chance at dominance, I believe you need assistance."
"Not a chance. I have an understudy already and I'm not taking another, and since you're not trained, how will you be any help?" Attis scoffed at SineNomine's vulnerability as he seized the upper hand.
"Wait. I am now a level twenty-five, which makes me no longer your understudy, Attis." He flinched at the uncharacteristically cold tone Angel used, and even more so at the use of his birth name instead of the usual endearment. And, then again at the words she uttered. It was almost as if she was rejected his fatherly love. "I will train him whether you like it or not," Angel stated with a softer tone. "But not to spite you, but the fact he is right and no one else with venture out with us."
