personality Ekane is, simply put, a warrior. She is everything one would see in a stereotypical warrior. She is fearless, brave, strong, fierce, and cocky. She is the embodiment of youthful energy. She's also very young to be in the position she's in. Ekane is known for having a soft touch, but striking hard. When not fighting, she is described as having a feather touch. She avoids physical contact with other dragons if at all possible. She avoids them not only to prevent her scales from being shattered, but to prevent them from even getting scratched. Ekane prides herself on having beautifully shiny and radiant glass scales. She regularly polishes her scales and keeps herself in top shape. backstory Ekane was the first glass blown dragon in Sornieth. She was created by the imperial princess, Calenture. Calenture was an intelligent and wildly creative dragon. She slaved over sketches and plans to make a dragon and bring it to life. She proposed that the dragons could be made and brought to life with magic. Then, they would be placed amongst regular hatchlings and grow up as though they were real biological dragons. Calenture even designed them to be able to produce glass hatchlings. Ekane was the first. She was hand crafted by Calenture; made with love. Ekane grew up with biological dragons. She cracked her scales regularly and was known for being a bit of a crybaby. As she grew older, she decided she would learn to keep her scales in tact. She learned fire magic and became an absolute powerhouse. She decided no one would ever crack her again and she would never be shattered. job Ekane is the head of the patrol. Most would think that such a fragile dragon is not suited for such duties, but Ekane is nigh unstoppable. Ekane uses fire magic to dual wield crackling fire whips. Her scales are mostly fireproof and easily able to be molded back into shape, so while her fire doesn't affect her much, it causes bad and blistering burns on the scales on biological dragons. Ekane takes her duties very seriously. She trains all the guards and works day and night to protect the empire. When not training, she patrols the outer border of the empire for any strange things. |
