The original glass blown dragons, those without parents or simply without parents who are glass blown themselves, were made. A highly skilled glass blower took careful time and consideration when constructing the harrowing creatures. Each one made to look like a real dragon, colors chosen to mimic living dragons, some even hand painted with designs to cover some of their glass scales. The creatures are then brought to a mage who enchants the creature with life, allowing the creations to act like real dragons. Most glass blown dragons form a strong connection with their creator, and for those who are hatched and not made, a strong connection with their mother and father. The glass blown dragons have glass scales. In fact they are entirely made of glass. Most of the dragons are hollow, but some are made with glass skeletons inside. Depending on how they're created, they can either be extremely fragile or unbreakable. Most are in the middle, tending to be resilient, but cracking when hit too hard. Although, it is not uncommon for dragons to be extraordinarily fragile, even cracking when simply stepping on uneven ground. The original creator of the Glass Blown dragons was Calenture, an imperial. She created the first glass blown dragon, Ekane. Unfortunately, she lost her mind in the process. Nevertheless, she is still known as the Mother of Glass Dragons. Since the original was created, many other glass blowers have emerged, joining in the taboo, albeit rewarding, practice. They care quite deeply about keeping their fragile scales in pristine condition. As such, they tend to avoid wearing things that would scratch or damage their scales. Of course, this varies widely from dragon to dragon, greatly depending on how durable the dragon is. More fragile dragons tend to wear furs and gentle cloths while durable dragons might venture into wearing wooden or metal pieces, with a layer to buffer. Generally speaking though, those that were created, not born, tend to take on the personality of their creator with those personality traits presenting strongly throughout their lineage.

My lore for the dragon who'd be a part of both is that they'd be created by someone experimenting with drones, essentially, trying to find ways of creating new ones. This'd be an interesting way to do so.
