Vulture Idol Shell is the Countess of the Blue Flame, the twin sister to Rin. She and her sister are a branch of the Cryptkeepers. Bound by chains to the mortal coil, Shell is a weilder of ghostfire. A preacher of undeath and eternal rest, she binds herself to the mortal coil in supplication for the spirits beyond the veil, so that she may carry out their requests here, where they cannot. It is the ultimate sacrifice to forgo death, and it brings her great pain to carry on. Where Rin brings her new souls, she trades their life for undeath. She is the reaper, the converter.

Shell makes me cold just looking at her. Once more you've used those rags to perfection, but I think visually my favorite part of this terrifying skylady is that eerie shroud. The rusty chains and glacierguard certainly look chill, but it's the shroud that really drives it home for me. This countess is truly colder than the grave. I don't even have to touch her myself to know.
