Flamerest Embers Rin is the Countess of the Red Flame, the twin sister to Shell. She and her sister are a branch of the Cryptkeepers. Rin's role is to invite the living in to the world of the dead, effectively encouraging them to perish for the sake of her cause. She believes that living is a painful and agonizing curse, and it is her belief that death is a relief, an eternal blessing of peace. She only remains alive to provide this relief for others. For her, the ultimate sacrifice is to remain alive.
