Ghoul

Ghoul has had a rough journey. After years of searching for a charge with no luck she nearly given up. She didn't feel like she was anywhere close. A Guardian with no charge? Please, she wasn't welcome near her kind. She was alone. She made her home in a quiet little place At the northern tip of the Windswept Plateau, where wind, plague, and water meet. A small cave overlooking a small beach. Dragons would pass by her little home on a regular basis.

The first time she opened her home was to a lost Fae. The poor little guy was so much smaller then her and he was terrified. The hatchling explained he was traveling with his parents and siblings when they got lost. They ended up in a terrible windstorm and his small stature was no match for the powerful winds. Since he was so young, he had trouble explaining where they were headed. Once she was finally able to piece together where he was going to based on his scatter-brained, little kid chatter, she agreed to take him. The journey there was more fun then she had had in years. The small dragon loops around her, weaving between her beating wings, wrapping his tail around her horns. They laughed and played and raced all the way there.

Once they arrived, she was met with joy. The adult dragons, who was still much smaller then her, wraps their wings around her. Thanking her over and over. His father explained they where moving their clan when they got caught in a terrible storm on their way through the Windswept Plateau. They were scattered but they found most everyone, except little Emerald. They thanked her again, and insisted on showing their appreciation. They offered her some scrolls, she politely declined and joked she could hardly read them. His eyes lit up and his crests flared. He insisted he had just the thing digging through his bags. He pulls out crudely made glasses. "I will send you better fitting ones when our trader comes back through. For now these should make scrolls much easier." She was sure his tiny little face lifts into a smile. And he was true to his word. He sent a better fitting version of the glasses by a young Spiral who stopped by a few weeks later.
