Rhakirhaun

Rhakirhaun is somewhat less than sane according to those around him and those who care about him. He is devout to The Arcanist, and while some would say one could not be devout to a fault, Rhakirhaun most certainly is. So deep is his thirst for knowledge that he plans to tread where other Imperials would never dare: intentional Emperorism. Upon his death, he has made arrangements with a Gaoler clan to have his remains frozen immediately, so as not to rot away. His hypothesis is that Emperors are not inherently mindless, hungry killing machines, only that their brains, and therefore their sanities, are too deteriorated to make heads or tails of the world and cause them to rampage. He has not found any other willing Imperials to take part in this "grand experiment"... not for lack of trying, of course.

Of course, there are more Imperials than just him in the lair, and at least one of them is opposed enough to his posthumous plans to take great pains to go against them. After all, it is sacred ground he so willingly desecrates, and surely his actions bring great shame to the Imperial race...

Or do they?
