/ˈcat/

1. It is of Greek origin, and the meaning of Catherine is "pure".
2. The name may also have been derived from Hecate, the name of the Greek goddess of magic.

I went to the Auction house to buy a differently colored dragon and came home with another brown + spruce butterfly + maize underbelly dragon! Curious to see if they were related to my navigators, I check her lineage and surprise! She's the granddaughter of Farris and Nephilim, Maria and Elena's niece! :D

She's the perfect perma hatchling addition to the family aaaa

DREAMRESCUE DIVE

From the 2018 Wavecrest In-Flight Event run by me, of which Kat was responsible for distributing daily prizes

Let it be known Kat was not supposed to have been part of the Deepwater expedition to rescue the Dreamvision Dragon. She sneaked into the Third Sister when her aunties Maria and Elena weren't looking and kept giving out rations and gifts to the members of the crew until she was finally discovered. Elena and Maria were very anxious about keeping her in the crew but as there were other young dragons participating they had no means to denying Kat her adventure. Still, seeing the massive battle against the Krakenguard and realising the very real threat of drowning made Kat no longer wish to sail the Sea of a Thousand Currents. She has since claimed she would rather live on land, unlike her seafaring parents.

Auction House, 45kt! Granddaughter of Farris and Nephilim! I used my clanbound Vial of Goat eyes on her!

Katarina and her family were the reason I became so obssessed with spruce as a color, which kickstarted my spruce collection so they get the honour of being my main lore characters and appearing on a lot of events!

Best friends:

The outgoing and hyperactive granddaughter of Farris and Nephilim, Katarina is very well known for her pranks around the Navigator Harbor. She never targets the poorer member in clan, instead opting to annoy richer members of society, simply because she's well aware her family is richer and so they can't do anything about her. She's learned very soon to use her family to her advantage but doesn't like being associated with them or their money, opting to spend her days roaming freely the port and talking to old sailors and tabern dwellers.

She's often at the Gilly n' Gull tabern, helping out with the cleaning and learning some card tricks from the dragons on the way to the exalt armies. Rumor has it that she learned from some old pirate a lot of pickpocketting tricks, but nobody can confirm that - because they never caught her on the act. She collects pocket watches. Her collection is quite big. She also collects stationery, which shows a more romantic side she hides.

Her best friend is Lulu Mae, and she's always trying to make the gao girl join her in her adventures. Sadly for her, Lulu is shy and sensitive, a big contrast to her energetic nature, so Lulu and never seems to follow her crazy ideas. But she insists on her, being her self-proclaimed best friend!

» The street savy cute Kat has a collection of pebbles, but instead of keeping them in a box she keeps them in a glass bottle and they are just next right to the pickpocket watch collection!

» Once she convinced Lulu Mae to join her on her street adventures against the rich ones and the adventure ended up taking all of the day; Lulu won a scratch on her knee and people were worried about them being gone all day, but soon as they showed up together the worry was gone cause yeah, she was with Kat so everything was ok

» Having that energetic nature, she's never well dressed and doesn't like being dressed up too much. When her grandma dresses with ribbons as accessories Kat will insist on letting the ribbon or bow look kinda crooked. Just imagine this litle urchy with a crooked bow on her head and dirty knees!

» Sleeps too much for her own sake. Her sleep is so deep and good that the ships could have been in a fight, world going nuke and she would still be sleeping.

» Once Vanessa was crazy trying to find her flag to put on the ship and found that Kat was sleeping tucked in on it. That was too cute so Vanessa gave up hosting the flag that day.

» Farris and Neph at their granddaugther when any rich dragon complain about her: "Kat??? No you're talking nonsense TM"

» Katarina loves trying to scare the other dragons on the ship. It's one of her favorite pastimes. Most of the crew is used to it and just brushes her jumpscares off, but every so often, she catches someone in a really focused or really vulnerable moment and makes their heart stop when she jumps at them. Those are her favorite moments.

Katarina would be about 8 human years old, and the reason she lives with her grand parents and not her parents is because they thought she was too young to become a seafarer.

xxxxxxxThe package on her back was well tied and she would not let it fall during her flight all the way to Porto. She was tasked with a delivery to Andras, by her Queen's orders. Since her work would make her pass by Porto, Nozette tasked Aurelia with dropping this to a long and old friend, who now lived on the gorgeous seaside town.

xxxxxxxOnce there, she found two of the cutest little hatchlings, named Kat and Lulu. Lulu was so pure and kind, Aurelia almost couldn't believe that she was part of that harbour scenario, but her little dagger said otherwise. Kat was so full of energy and was always the first to speak. By Gods an Goddess, she had energy!

xxxxxxxLulu was the first to put senses on Kat, and this time, the little goat eyed skydancer wouldn't pickpocket the new visitor. By Lulu's insistence, Kat agreed on taking Aurelia to a station and from there, Aurelia would follow her patch to Helgardr keep where Andras was.

xxxxxxxWhat a good afternoon the coalt had with the two little girls. Soon they became good friends on a short journey. Aurelia was pleased to tell them about her past on a farm, how she was streetwise orphan now working as a delivery courier; and was amazed by how much Kat and Lulu said about themselves. She did not expect them to be children of important dragons on Porto. Aurelia smiled from ear to ear, knowing now that even being related to importante dragons, these two surely could be fine on their own. As she had a rough past, knowing this warmed her heart. The new generation for sure was one step ahead of the previous one.
