Vincent

Lover of art, is a bit obsessed and paints constantly.

Vincent studied at the Naval Acadamy of Water, he spent several years at sea serving in the Light Flight's Navy. He found that he had very little time for his passions at sea, and even less way of carrying out his love of painting. He had joined as the ships doctor and quickly found he took no joy in his medical practices. An unending frustration for him was to be pulled away from the flora and fauna of some remote Island, never before seen by a scientific eye, by the naval mission on which the ship travels. It is no surpritse, that after serving his time, Vincent went back to dry land to learn to paint and study cryptozoology. He became a naturalist.

Many would describe Vincent as stocky for a skydancer, but with curious pale yellow eyes unlike most of the Light Flight, and rather tanned by the sun. His feathers, which most skydancers would keep pristine, are often dotted with paint or ruffled as he scribbles in a notebook.
Vincent is habitually untidy or even disreputable in appearance; he spends as little as possible on clothes, preferring an "old rusty coat" unless the occasion calls for dressier clothes.

He is like the sea, wild and unkept. A Nightowl by nature, the kind of fellow who will be caught smiling about nothing and puzzled by anything.

As well as his activities as a physician and painter, Vincent is a celebrated natural philosopher in the age of scientific discovery. He is, like his half-sister, Artemis, a member of the Royal Society. His interests are wide, but he has a particular interest in wildlife, particularly birds and their anatomy.
