I recall when Incarnatum 'died'. His heart did not stop, nor did his breath. But that dragon is not of the living, not truly. Or of the dead, for that matter.
He entered the library in a panic, requesting all scrolls on decomposition and necrosis. Of course, we did try to aid him, giving the requested scrolls and contacting dragons who may be able to help him. There was something wrong, this much was obvious. As a last resort, we ended up calling for the Storyteller, but this was met with loud shouting from Incarnatum.
After the quick moment of anger, though looking back it seems more as if it were terror, Incarnatum took the scrolls and flew out of the library.
He never returned them. But we still see him, wandering the lair. Aimless. Wherever he steps, the ground crumbles and grass decays, before reforming and regrowing healthier and more alive than before.
He is a combination of two, it seems. The death of all, and the life that comes from it.
