Biography

The Plague Original, Master of Hunting
She originally planned to pursue a life as a hunter of great beasts, until she met Willow and Anaster with their band of misfits and decided to give them a hand in creating a place for the odd ones out.

Unahara wanted to create a place she didn't have, growing up-- a place where it didn't matter that metal and lightning didn't bend to her whims, a place she didn't need to hide away to practice her archery, a place she could run to when those she trusted, loved, once, hurt her irrevocably.

The scar was punishment for not "borrowing" copper, a highly conductive metal, instead borrowing desperately-needed food. She was used as the conductor instead.

Despite her looks and profession of choice, Unahara is one of the best sympathetic listeners and advice-givers in the Clan, outside of Verdant who is everyone's favorite grandma.

Rustbucket is her first and last attempt at the family business, on her own. It has many a malfunction, constantly spewing smoke. She's shocked it's kept running this long.
It still comforts her, though. A being of metal and lightning that only wants to help is a balm on her broken trust.

Her Hazebird helps her track and corner particularly difficult dragons-- ahem, prey.
Bonebird is affectionately called BB by most of the Sanctuary.
