The dragons of the outpost call him Quasar--odd but fitting, even if they can't understand his actual name-- but you're not sure what to make of that (since his "real name" looks more like a sentence than a name... what does it even mean?).


His eyes aren't eyes, really. They glow, like gateways or lost stars. There's something odd about his pearl-- the way it glows and pulses when it shouldn't; the way it floats away from the ground when he lets go to continue his studies. His motions are strange-- graceful, but overly calculated. Some of the traders and travelers swear they've seen him phase through the crumbled walls of the old ruins...

Are you hearing the voice aloud or in your mind? It weaves in and out of existence, though somehow you're able to piece the sounds together coherently.


«I AM Quasi-Stellar Radio Source. I COLLECT DATA ON SX-42 AND PERFORM NORMAL CLAN FUNCTIONS ON A DIURNAL BASIS. THERE IS NOTHING ELSE TO SEE HERE. MOVE ALONG.»

Quasar has stationed himself in the middle part of the ruins that house the dragons of the Snowsquall Outpost. From his den he has a good view on the ramshackle town and he can often be found staring out over it when he's not occupied with other work. He's acknowledged as part of the community, though very few dragons interact with him regularly. His presence is unnerving to some, in particular to Reagent.
The one dragon who doesn't seem to be affected by his alienating aura is Chargestone. The young mirror isn't a regular creature herself, after all. Despite Quasar keeping his interaction with others at a minimum, he's become curious enough to make an exception for her. He takes great care not to reveal too much about his identity, though Chargestone seems neither put off or particularly interested in his strange mannerisms or accidental slip ups. In a way it comforts him to be able to interact with a local without having to be on his guard so much.
