Once a proud warrior of a plague clan, Lazulle wandered the Scarred Wasteland with his best friend Elzrydot. Though the two were only from allied clans they were as close as brothers could be. When they weren't protecting their fellow clans they were scouring the Wasteland for dangers. Whether it was from Beastclan tribes attacking clans or marauding dragons ransacking villages the two Guardians never tired of fighting.Years passed and the two dragons grew up. They continued to serve their clans, but in his heart Lazulle knew there was something he was missing. This missing part caused him to grow agitated to everyone. He couldn't think of what was wrong with him, so he went to his clan elder to get advise. This was when he learned of Guardians' search for a charge. Having grown up in a large clan with so many different dragons Lazulle never had the chance to learn of this from his elders. At that moment the crystalline dragon decided to leave his clan and find his Charge in the world of Sornieth. Gathering supplies, he and his inseparable friend Elzrydot left their clans and began to travel. They started their journey east through the Tangled Wood, and for years the pair went. Occasionally they would find clans to temporarily stay with but it was hardly more than a handful of days. They never tired of travelling and would sometimes go days without stopping to rest. Going clockwise around the continent Lazulle and Elzrydot went through different flight areas, but a vicious storm slowed their progress on the border of the Windswept Plateau. With difficulty they pushed on through the Starfall Isles until the vicious storm forced them to hide in a cave. There the two Guardians huddled in the cave they waited for hours as the wind howled outside. Late into the night the storm raged until, exhausted and weary, they fell asleep. Lazulle woke first, he saw a large figure standing at the entrance of the cave they occupied. Immediately he leapt to his feet, waking Elzrydot and going on the defensive. The dragon didn't say a word, just regarded the other two with a silent gaze. After several moments the silhouette spoke. "You are in my lair." Lazulle's threatening demeanor dropped and he stood up straight. His heart felt full, more than it had ever been in his life. The missing piece of his life had been found, and he was sure this emerald dragon was his charge, and not only that but his life mate as well. |
