Biography
Wardog Militia.
Wardogs are the foot soldiers of every clan, they are so vast in numbers that most armies forged for battles are made up of them, even the armies of the past, now long forgotten where made up with mainly Wardogs. The reason for which a good many of Wardogs hold high ranking positions in many clans armies and infantries. Some even go on to become a clan leader, though it is said that only those that have proved their strength in the coliseum and reached their maximum power can truly be named clan leaders.
They only become a Wardog after being hatched within the nest of a Wardog parent, often being sent out into the world whilst still fledglings. They are left to fend for themselves many of which form small packs and will often remain together even once they have found a new clan to serve.
Wardogs will eat literally anything! even rotting flesh when used in a soup, they really do not care what they are given to eat as long as it can be eaten. It's not what they would have chosen to eat had they not been hatched a Wardog they eat it out of necessity, from the hard life that they have been dealt.
Mainly they live in war camps on the outskirts of their chosen clans territory, unless they hold a high ranking such as High Commander which would open doors to private rooms within a clans walls. Often the separation from their new clan can leave the Wardogs feeling moody and territorial over anything they believe to be theirs including their mates, they have been known to kill even their own superiors over a mate.
The Wardog's are well-organised, they are skilled hunters, often setting traps or ambushes and using squad tactics to flush their enemy out of hiding. Wardog's are just as deadly up close, unlike some of the other groups, the Wardog's express genuine satisfaction in killing anyone who runs and treat them like trophy kills; some even talking about taking teeth or other bones off of the ones they kill and making accessories out of them.
They communicate with phrases and codes, although the Wardog's are dangerous in groups, some members lack discipline and easily lose their temper when their chosen target gets away, leading them to wander off in pursuit.
Mostly they are found to appear to be lazily patrolling the grounds of the interlacing territories of their clan. Most are fooled by this outward show of them not caring much for their patrol work and are lulled into a false sense of security by it. Dropping their guard, giving the Wardog's the opportunity they need to take out their enemies with ease.
Hatched on the day of the Spring Equinox, and named after a spring time flower/herb called Zinnia.
