Zaer is a well-organised Wardog, operating militia-style he receives all of his orders from and answers directly to Deathilar. He is a skilled hunter, often setting traps or ambushes and using squad tactics to flush his targets out of hiding, just as deadly close up, there are not many who wish to cross paths with him.

He expresses genuine satisfaction in killing runners and treats them like trophy kills; he has even been heard talking to other Wardog's about taking teeth off of the targets he kills and making accessories out of them.

Zaer often communicates with others using phrases and codes, although most of his kind are more dangerous in groups. He himself lacks discipline and easily lose his temper when his chosen target gets away, leading him to take off in pursuit.

Mostly he can be found appearing to be lazily patrolling the grounds of the interlaying territories of the clans homeland. Most are fooled by his outward show of not caring much for his patrol work and are lulled into a false sense of security by it. Often leading them into dropping their guard, giving Zaer the opportunity he needs to take out his enemies with ease.

Highly paid by Deathilar, Zaer will remain with the clan and do his duty to them. Given a chance he would switch sides and join her brother, even killing Deathilar himself for a cut of the vast treasure that Deathkale owns.
