Redstone is one of those dragons who either doesn't care at all or cares too much. No in-between. Her only source of pride obviously being her pearl and her only "friend" possibly being her familiar. Many wonder if something in her past caused her to be this way or if this is just another 'Pearlcatcher' personality quirk. They are kind enough to give her space when she requests it. Despite her stony personality, she is an excellent talker and is very resourceful with her memory and her words. Her relationship with her 'mate', Wolfgang, is a strange one as she seems very reluctant to be with him in the first place but still stood by him even after others questioned him about past crimes.
Her illegitimate relationship with Eagleheart resulted in a daughter. Though she begged him to give the child away for her safety, Eagleheart absolutely refused to give Joy up. Thus she stayed quiet while many pondered over the parentage of little Joy. One day the guilt ate away at Redstone and she came clean to the whole affair. She feared Wolfgang greatly but was ready to put herself between him and her newest child if need be.
In the end Wolfgang pulled her away in quiet and told her that Joy would not be endangered by him as long as Redstone had nothing to do with her illegitimate daughter.
Heartbroken but desperate for Joy's safety, she agreed.
