restless fall spirit. her appearance is heralded as an omen of a tumultuous fall and failed crops. she is often seen in the fields just days before they begin to fall ill. many think she is a harbinger of death, that she is killing their crops by her own claws - evoking dark magic or poisoning their soil.

but she is simply trying to help. she can feel when the land is weak, and when the crops are at their most vulnerable. she does her best to give them a fighting chance. but she is just one small fae against the sometimes cruel callousness of nature. she cannot help herself from tending to these fields. even though she knows others see her as a pest. if only they understood her intentions were good. they do not see the tears that fall when she returns to a barren field.

she has met another fall spirit recently - an imperial who causes the leaves to change. she is trying to learn from him that her purpose is not evil. that while others may not understand and may look upon her with scorn, the crops could not grow healthy in the coming seasons without her sacrifice. through him, she has met another spirit, one who makes flowers grow. despite her efforts to remain civil, it isn't hard to tell that she is somewhat bitter toward the tundra. her gift is everything sparrow wanted but could not have.
