Jalhaesseo is the Alpha Male of the Runechildren, a small faction of dragons with dark coloring and glowing runes. He does not accept the authority of Candace, as he precieves himself and his family group as their own lair.

Jalhaesseo and his people live in a cave on the outskirts of the lair, a cave that often glows with mysterious runes that match those that are on the bodies of the dragons. Only the Runechildren know the meaning of these runes, and sharing the secret with none runics is concidered high treason and is punishable by death.

Jalhaesseo is the main prophet of the Runechildren in the area, which means he is the one who interprets the final meaning of all rune readings. When a prophecy is interpreted, he will go out himself or send someone of his group out to fullfill it, and he rarely if ever asks Candace for help.

Species: Runechildren

Runechildren are typically dark colored dragons with bright colored runes on their bodies. There have been rumors about opposites- White dragons with darker colored runes - But no one has documented such a dragon in thousands of years.

Runechildren, regardless of dragon species, live in caves or ruins covered in ancient magical runes that glow and change, seemingly predicting the future and the ways of destiny. The runechidren pride themselves on their helping of the destiny told by the runes.

Prophecies seem to most often predict dragons that must be born or be brought to a particular place.
