"Apologies if I can't recall our meeting, my sniffer isn't what it used to be!"

Years ago, an egg was left abandoned in a lone nest of The Emberglow Hearth, nobody quite understood why or where the parents had gone but that mattered not anymore. From this lonely egg hatched a single tundra, extremely out of place in such a boiling domain with her thick and fluffy lavender fur coating a sweltering seafoam body. Regardless of this setback, the hatchling strove for survival. As time went on she would eventually find two mates, a Pearlcatcher and a Fae, who gave her her name and taught her all they knew about the deities and dragon species. Sadly they betrayed her one day, leaving her defeated and once again alone as she became lost in her molten homeland. However as she sulked, a wandering Guardian happened to catch her eye! She watched the lumbering young male wander across the scorching plains a moment, before speaking up,
"You there, Guardian. Are you looking for a charge or simply passing by?"
Her curiosity got the better of her, she couldn't help but pry. As chatty as a spiral she followed the young dragon along the blistering ground of The Ashfall Waste, listening intently to his story, sharing her ideas and goals with him, and memorizing his sweet scent. As the chatting died down and their movements slowed, she was almost sad to say goodbye to her new friend...that was until he spoke up once more in his low voice, nearly shaking her to the core with his words.
"Could you be my charge?"

Shaken by the request, she didn't know if she should feel honored or completely thrown! The guardian, Yaya as he had said he was called, was far larger than her and could crush her without any effort at all if he tried...and yet he wanted to protect her!
"May I...ask why?"
Her voice trembled, giving away her slight intimidation. She couldn't help it, being in the presence of a dragon as colossal as a diety! After a long pause, the male gave a low hum and turned blazing eyes to the smaller dragon piercing into her very soul.
"You and I were not made for these lands, you are small and could overheat with a single breath from the Flamecaller. I want to protect your beauty and innocence because we are the same, and carry the same goal in the end."
Satisfied with his answer, and quite flustered at being called beautiful, Brandy accepted her new friends wish and enlisted him as her guard, and after a while even as her mate. Together, the dragons born of lonely flames moved into The Windswept Plateau to serve Windsinger, finding the cooler air far more peaceful and manageable than the fiery wastes of their home. Here they formed a clan, a place separated from the war and chaos, a place of strict rules and peace. Here, all dragons would be safe.

"In this place, this small section of Sorneith, it almost seems as though the war cannot touch us."

▸Brandyridge is a sweet and caring leader, frequently taking in new clan members from exalt row as well as making sure older clan members feel safe and secure in their diverse home. Although missing her birthplace in The Emberglow Hearth, she keeps a diverse and ever welcoming stature to dragons of all shapes, sizes, and flights.
