Emlos

The stories of a Spiral trickster follow Emlos everywhere. From ocean to ocean, mountain to mountain, valley to valley, and Lair to lair; tales of her antics rode the line of worry and glee. She never minds, of course. There’s always a little fun in the chaos that follows her visits, so complaining is not in her agenda. Some dragons just can’t take a joke, though, and that is something that gets under her scales. Using her large claws to weaken the hold of rocks so they crumble when someone else perches on them isn’t a crime, is it? But no one laughed, and so she left that sorry clan behind. At least dragons appreciated her favorite scheme of slithering across the walls of dark caves back when she was in The Tangled Woods; the luminous spots along her spine always amazed and dazzled the young ones, until she launched face-first out of the shadows, and her eyes began to glow in the moonlight. It was nice being able to get in a good scare now and then, and the dark was her favorite, anyways. The pleasure of being free to go wherever you like, and do whatever you want, kept Emlos on the move. Through the plains of her homeland, the currents and coves of the sea, the undergrowth of the shadow woods, the caverns of the Dragon Home, and now the arcane peaks; she spread laughter and fun. Though, there was a nagging feeling in her armored chest, telling her to do... something. She wasn’t quite sure what, but it kicked hard whenever she managed to stay in the lair of a happy clan for too long. No matter, though; she’d keep looking. Maybe she’ll find what her heart is telling her to seek in the Isles.
