The fire in front of me burns brightly. The tips of the flames reach up into the sky in a strange yet beautiful prayer. Blood flows through the streets like rivers. Screams can be heard in all directions, tearing through the air in a horrid yet beautiful melody.

This is paradise.

I raise my hands up into the air. I don't believe in the praise of deities, but I want to offer my thanks to [GOD] tonight. Just a day ago, she offered me the blissful dream of freedom from my seemingly eternal prison of sanity. Though I know she did not offer me just a thing out of kindness, I am thankful regardless.

I open my mouth and laugh despite the suffocating air.

"In the name of [GOD], let the beast within me roam free."

For her entire life, Aranatha has lived imprisoned by her sanity. She was born with a raging desire to kill and wreak havoc, but the little dragonic emotion she had within her kept her from going berserk. This prison of sanity caused Aranatha great pain as her murderous desire and reason constantly fought for control of her body. She desperately wished to be freed of her mind, but no matter how hard she tried, she simply couldn't break free.
Aranatha lived as a bounty hunter to put her monstrous strength to good use and to try and find a solution to her burden. But things began to look grim as years of searching turned up no results. Before she was about to give up, she was contacted by The Lightweaver. The skydancer was asked to meet with The Lightweaver to discuss a possible target she could take down. Aranatha was highly suspicious, but she went anyway. When she arrived to the meeting, it turned out that target was Adrienne. Aranatha was about to decline, when The Lightweaver mentioned that if she carried out the task, she be paid by being freed from her sanity. Desperate to obey her murderous instincts, the skydancer simply couldn't decline that offer. Aranatha accepted and received a blessing for support, making her the 9th Dominion.
1 day after the meeting, something crashed down in the heart of the clan. A crater formed in the ground with the object inside of it. When soldiers came to investigate the impact, the only thing they found was a super-charged beast of electricity and malice.

The 9th Dominion left extreme disaster in her wake. In a matter of hours following her arrival, she had managed to crush almost the entirety of Astralis' population. Even after suffering multiple wounds from attacks and explosives, she still finished off 50% of the clan's population before being ultimately defeated by a joint effort involving Amaterasu, Samhain, and even Adrienne herself.

The 9th Dominion's attack enraged Adrienne to levels never seen before. She decided she truly needed to step up in order to gain the upper hand. And thus, she started training the dragon who would ultimately become the 4th Paladin.

Somewhere deep within the clan, a murderous intent grows stronger. The dragon who embodies it is forced to contain it once more. But this time, she has been placed in a prison stronger than the one that surrounds her soul.

Something is always off about Aranatha. Perhaps it is her claws that are too long and too sharp. Perhaps it is her eyes that are always hungry. Perhaps it is the bundle of corpes that hang from her hand. Having been consumed by the cursed magic in her blood long ago, Aranatha is not much more than a beast contained in a dragon's body. She'll ignore you as long as you don't bother her, and as long as you're not on her hit list. Her existence is like an ugly ink blotch in a book of poetry. The moment that she tears free from her prison of a body is the moment that everything is destined to die.

...as it turns out, Aranatha was not as terrifyingly destructive as we thought. Sure, she turned into a dominion and murdered like half the clan, but we thought she would murder all of us, so what's the big deal? Yeah uh sorry, I'm tired of writing right now. Sorry, I'll write properly.

Aranatha, being a bounty hunter, was paid by the Lightweaver to come to the Beacon of the Radiant Eye for an unstated mission. Aranatha agreed, although she was extremely suspicious. At the Beacon, the Lightweaver offered Aranatha her power (in the form of a blessing) so that she could crush as many of Adrienne's forces as possible, as well as Adrienne. Aranatha was about to decline the offer until the Lightweaver mentioned that she would release Aranatha from the imprisonment of sanity and allow her to roam as a beast. Aranatha, desperate to be free of herself, accepted the offer.

As told of her, Aranatha murdered half the clan before being intercepted by Amaterasu and Samhain, and eventually Adrienne needed to get involved to stop the dominion.

The arrival of the 9th dominion deeply angered Adrienne. The Lightweaver had proven to her that she was serious about this war, and Adrienne needed to match her strength with equal force. Thus, Adrienne trained her most promising paladin yet.
