Clove grew up in the frigid cold of the Fortress of Ends and reached adulthood with the protection of Icewarden and the love she received from her parents Kakashi and Aissa, especially her siblings. She was the last to see her siblings go before she herself was bought and moved lairs and thus changed the Dragon God she followed. Extremely loyal, she still follows the Icewarden's teachings, but still finds the teachings of Shadowbinder and Arcanist to be very interesting.

Moving lairs wasn't easy for Clove, as new clans come with new cultures, new dragons, new Dragon God and most importantly a change in temperature! Used to the cold temperatures, she was very used to snuggling alongside her siblings to keep warm and much like her old clan the dragons and people there were very warm, unlike the chaotic Shadow clan of the Moonlit Hare! Akin to the loss of her innocence, she learned fast of the dragon-eat-dragon world this Shadow clan displayed. Learning not to trust dragons so easily (especially those from Moonlit Hare) she set her mind to become strong in her own way.

Receiving training from the strongest dragons in the clan, Luca, and Byakuya, she endured what she thought to be the cruelest and most unusual treatment, especially fearing Luca most (surprising!). She learned quickly from Luca's wife (by paying in treasures) why she had to endure this unnecessary training (as the world was seemingly at peace). She was to be a gift to be given to AkiraByakuya's best friend, MegurineMei. Feeling honored she trudges on to complete her training to meet her new trainer. Clove's hopes were that this new clan would not be as crazy as the Moonlit Hare's.

Much like her old clan she looked up towards the adult coatls who looked beautiful in their garbs. She too wanted to look just as beautiful as they did, especially like her mother, Aissa. She soon got into the hobby of sewing clothes for herself and experimenting with lace in her outfits.

____Moving into a new clan was rather hard on Clove. She was still young and inexperienced, she grew lonely without the presence and love of her clan whom she had called family. In comparison, to the Moonlit Hare which had so much infighting, she soon grew used to seeing blood spilled amongst the glowing mushrooms, that she too began to have dark thoughts of whether these mushrooms received their glow from the blood spilled by these powerful dragons. Depressed each day, she soon found hope and light - her aurora borealis - in the form of Petaldust. Petaldust comforted her in her time of need and being with her made her happy. Despite Petaldust's rather strange mating arrangements with Wagram and other dragons she never judged her for it. In turn, Clove listened patiently each time she said she was a reincarnated person, complained about her mate Tea and friend, Bergamot, who she had never met nor seen, thus assumed was a female dragon (little did Clove know).

____Clove intrigued by this story wondered, who this mysterious dragon was. Fate soon made them meet in the form of Spartan training from Luca. Luca had introduced the two dragons, which greatly shocked Clove who had thought the latter to be a female. Having thought this she found the dragon at first disgusting for his affair with an older male, but soon came to terms with it as she soon received the news that she would be mated with this dragon. Sympathizing, she could not bear to love him for reasons that he too could not love her for his heart belonged to Tea. She was surprisingly glad though to have been the dragon to mate with Bergamot as at least she had done something to repay the kindness given to her by PetalDust.

____It was the day of the move to MegurineMei's lair. Feeling heavy, she tearfully said goodbye to her best friend and greatly thanked both Luca and Byakuya for training her all this time. It was then that Clove challenged Luca to a dual. No longer the weak coatl that she was, she wanted to affirm to herself that she could handle whatever the world or Gods threw at her. However, fate would not let her as Luca easily beat her up in just 3 moves. (Curse you Eliminate!) Saddened by this loss and the fate that awaited her, she solemnly and slowly packed her clothes and Icewarden plushie and brought her familiar, remembering to first come without them. She arrived at the crossroads first with AkiraByakuya as they too waited for Bergamot and MegurineMei to come. Out from the distance, she could faintly see the silhouette of a dragon, thinking that it'd be Bergamot, Clove grew surprised as she admittedly had never seen her mate without the Invisibility Cloak and Mage Garbs. Seeing his appearance for the first time she felt hot and bothered. She had to convince herself that his looks did not change the fact that he had an affair with her best friend's mate.

____Meeting MegurineMei for the 1st time, she gave off a ditzy air. Brightly smiling at her she said that she was glad to have her in her clan. When she talked to Mei, she was greatly aggrieved to have found out that some were from the same, Moonlit Hare, clan as her. She did not think that when she 1st met the dragons from the clan she stayed in that they were not the same bloodthirsty, war-hungry dragons she stayed with. Thinking that she was now in a better place, though she still dreads her fate with her mate. What awaited her was a massive onslaught of dragons wishing to grow stronger for the service of the Arcanist and the unbearable pesterings of Psyche who had decided to throw all the work on Clove in managing the clan! Mei, on the other hand, stayed ditzy and let Psyche do as she pleased. She once said to Clove, "Did you know that you were named after the clove tea that I drank with Akira at our tea party? Though, Akira, on the other hand, drank Earl Grey tea... Ah, what a perfect pair those teas are!" Mei: ಠ益ಠ
