B I O G R A P H Y

You’d think I’d be embarrassed, but let’s be real with one another – I’ve done far worse things.

Like remember that one time I TP’d that one obnoxious Pearlcatcher’s lair with used TP? Or what about that time I accidentally stepped on that Pearlcatcher’s science project… and crushed it beyond recognition? To be honest, that science project did look kinda cool. And maybe it wasn’t so much of an accident – though that’s what I definitely said to the half dozen dragons who saw me. Totally wasn’t trying to step on the Pearlcatcher who made it either. Then there was that time I was playing with my buddy and we trampled a Pearlcatcher’s lair. Now that – that was totally an accident. We had no idea it was hidden in the rocks, and I got pushed down the hill. I was just trying to find something to stop my tumble with my tail! Who woulda thought I would put my tail into the opening of an entire lair and completely take out the side wall with my momentum?

But today was a bit different, I guess. I mean it’s totally the first time I ever did something like this. Was it entirely my own fault though? I mean, I was STARVING and all I wanted to do was take a quick dip in the Fishspine Reefs and grab some yummy little clownfish. Like what? You never had a craving for some clownfish? Pfft. Whatever. Say what you will, but those little fish are absolutely delicious. Plus. They’re orange. Like me. And I think I’m absolutely fantastically gorgeous – so obviously, I’ma like things that look like me.

Anyways, back to the story at hand.

I was just trying to get some clownfish. There were a few other dragons in the water with me, trying to catch other little fish. Usually my size keeps other Wyrms away – but today, no one seemed to care that a giant luminous Imp was floating around chomping on all the orange fish. They were preoccupied with all the other species that swam around the coral, I guess. In any case, I was left to my own devices and I was having a grand ol’ time. The water was warm and the fish plentiful! What more could a magnificent titan ask for?

I was just about full until I came upon one little clownfish who was determined to tease me. I would shoot around one side of the dragonhorn coral, and the little jerk would swim around to the other. Now, being the good, responsible dragon I was, I didn’t want to just smash the coral and snap up the fish. I mean, c’mon! We all know that our coral reefs are fragile. We gotta take care of our oceans, man. Or there won’t be any more clownfish to eat!

Well either way, I was just tired of chasing this little guy back and forth. I was so big and he was so little…. Man, I shoulda just slammed my tail into the coral and grabbed that little guy. But then I got this awesome idea in my head. What if I just sucked in a bunch of water? YEA! That sounded awesome. Like I said, I’m a giant and he’s like, a little (annoying, but delicious) piece of food. So that’s what I did. Took a big, giant swallow of water and sucked the little rascal right up into my mouth. And swallowed. It was positively delectable. Even more gratifying since I was chasing him around for so long.

Truth be told, if it weren’t for the shocked faces of the dragons around me as I pumped my fist in the air, I totally wouldn’t have known I sucked up a poor little Fae too. Guess it had been swimming too close to the coral and the clownfish I was aiming for. Those little guys are really hard to see when you've got your eyes on a savory morsel of clownfish.

Now I wonder… was it the fish or the Fae that tasted so scrumptious?
