Though Secare comes off as a kind and even charismatic individual, he is well disliked by the general clan community. He keeps a clean, professional front, but anyone that knows anyone knows the true nature of his work. He calls it 'science', trying to use progress as a shield from judgement. It never does him much good, but there is little he could weave to truly defend his craft.

Sacare practices biology, namely dissection. More specifically, vivisection. He has a steady supply of wild familiars and Beastclan members from Adare (reluctantly, and not without an hefty fee) to dig his claws into, studying primarily the brain and nervous systems, as well as general anatomy. He claims that keeping the subjects alive furthers his research most effectively; his biggest downfall is a complete and total lack of proof that any research even takes place within his foul cave systems. No papers, books, or even notes have been seen or stolen from his labs, which has never helped his case to any degree.

Nevertheless, Sacare keeps on smiling and trying to make friends. He has been mostly forced into isolation, but he does his best to keep a good reputation with the few he is vaguely close to.
