Nenius is a son of Ganymede and Astrid of Clan Wicked Wings of The Observatory. At his and his clutch siblings births, it was discovered by the
Magic Society that he had enough of a degree of magic that he was classified as a Sage; a dragon who has a foot set in the realm of the mystical. In his case, the mystical seemed to be tied to the growing energy of the Crystalspine Reaches.

In what is seen as even disturbing for Arcane dragons, Nenius can hear the spirits of the crystals,
and also determined that they are alive in some way, and can communicate with them. His parents believe that this ability is dangerous what with the landscape shifting as of late. They are encouraging him to try to leave his homeland and live a normal life, but only time will tell where he will go.
