If you ask the dragons in the area, they will tell you that the Hewn City is a ruined, skeletal landscape of shattered structures, gripped by a shade that boggles even the Light dragonflight's most studious archaeologists.

This is not true. Nightjar was an archivist working in one of the largest libraries in the forgotten city, rivalling the Lightweaver's own Solar Archives underneath the Beacon. The city was not broken back then. That was less than a year ago. Nightjar is the only one that remembers.

The full story is about fifteen pages long right now, in google docs, but I am editing through some large structural changes. There is much more still to write, and much of what I have now is on the chopping block.
