She leads her religion, but others see it as a cult. It was founded by her previous mate, Tirion before he and their two sons left for higher prospects.

Does she have memory powers? I can't recall...

Elysium was the first dragon to truly love her for her, not her power.

She keeps him close to her.

She doubts her path now that she has Elysium; his kindness and optimism have begun to let her see her path doesn't have to be the religion's leader. She doesn't have to be ruthless and vicious around him and away from prying eyes. She can be what she truly wanted to be is with him.

Despite her softness for Elysium, Malta rules with viciousness and zeal, living up to Plaguebringer's edict of "The strong survive."
