Hansin is a newcomer to the clan, a traveler from the far seas seeking a home and to venture the world beyond his own. A sort of clairvoyance led him here to the shores of the Sunbeam ruins. The melancholic beauty of the Hewn City caught his attention when his paws first made contact with the soil of the new world.
He thought it would have been much worse for him to have been spotted by the clan's scout, Lucent, who surely would have sent one of their many protective warriors after the hybrid dragon stranger. Beastclans were not to be underestimated in territory like this-- however the young fae saw him with wonder in his eyes. This creature was more intelligent and brimming with magic that no normal creature could harness, unless they were Dragon. Half dragon, he assumed, as he led Hansin to the clan to meet the rest of his family. Never once in his life did he feel so, regrettably, beautiful. The eyes of the many dragons residing in the quilted-canopy covered lair were stuck to him like an adventurer to treasure. But yet they welcomed him. The clan scholar, Achaelo, was able to describe to Neptune and the others that he was not a beastclan nor a cursed one, but a rare sight--- a sign of great luck for their clan. When Hansin explained the hardship of his adventure and experience of feeling lost, many of the dragons looked to each other understanding him. Many of them found their way here with the same trouble-ships trailing behind them. It was under this that the flight ambassadors and the clan mother herself offered Hansin a home here in their clan, so long as he was loyal and hardworking. Life in Sorineth was no blessing and could even prove to be worse than the lands of the kitsune's origins. But it was new to him, he thought, and with that same unfamiliarity he was offered a family here. Something he never really had. It did not take the kitsune much thought to accept, his aura bright in happiness. The young kitsune obliged himself under the authority of Neptune, the clan matriarch. For the first time in his life he bows his head to the safety and mentor-ship of someone other than an elder of his own kin, but an elder skydancer. |
