Eggumodo

BACKSTORY

Born in the Cloudscrape Crags, Eggumodo has always been used to danger. Just after his birth he was sold to the Kagenami and was immediately sent into a harrowing battle arena of death against many other dragons as a child. He didn't win, but he didn't die, just was injured and woke up alone in a nest perfectly alive the next day. He was well-loved by his new clan and was taken care of. They nicknamed him Eggu. As he grew, he learned more fighting techniques and went on to fight in many more of these battles. He still to this day hasn't won, but he tries. The scars on his eye and leg are wounds from battles that were never fully healed for whatever reason. The flowers he wears are tokens from the arena, items he was given while in there that he was allowed to keep. His skull necklace appeared one day too, and etched on each skull are the names of the dragons he "killed" in battle, and after every battle more are added. He's never wanted to hurt other dragons, he's actually a very sweet and fatherly dragon.

The frequency of battles has decreased significantly, leaving Eggu with a lot more time in his clan. He was chosen to become the leader by Greywind, who killed the former leader, her old mate. He was nervous at first but soon grew into the role. As a younger dragon, he had many random nests with various mates, but none of them have been long-term. Every female dragon in the clan wants to be with him, but he just doesn't see anything in them he would want as a mate. Lonely and confused, he thought many times of leaving the clan, but every time he remembered the kindness they had shown him, how they made him feel whenever he came back from the arena. And one day, he made a friend. A small calico kitten was found in one of the empty nests in the middle of winter, cold and alone. Eggu took the kitten to his own nest and cared for her, naming her Burn, after the immense warmth she brought to him. Burn sits on Eggu's shoulder all the time now, and never leaves his side.

During the cold winter months, Eggu found another kitten, this time a grey Scottish Fold. He named him Olive and took him home. Olive likes to relax on Eggu's tail and never leaves his side. Burn took a liking to Olive, and the two are nearly inseparable, and they are often found cuddling next to each other in Eggu's nest.
