Though she does not remember, her emerald twin whom she was found by is indeed not her sister. A long while ago her father and mother cheated on their own mates, and had a long lasting affair. Within the nest was a singular egg- soon to be Aristella.
Her father's closest friend- the father of Valleryae- was in the same boat; a single accidental b***ard egg lay in his nest as well. In a friendly gesture of "having one another's back" so to speak, Aris' father took his comrade's egg into his own nest, incubating them both until they hatched.
To avoid evidence of infidelity, as soon as the hatchlings were born they were handed off to somebody who would dispose of them.

She was found tucked in a mossy grove among the underbrush, starving to death, cuddled beside an emerald "twin" of herself. In a fleeting- uncharastically rare- moment of pity, Sunshine lifted them upon his back, carrying the feeble hatchlings back to the lair.

Aristella knows she is beautiful, but is not nearly as vain as her sister. With age, Aris has cared less and less about looks, and far more about actions. She is often prone to believing others have ulterior motives to why they're kind to her, and believes people are pining to use her and promptly discard. Any gift, polite gesture, or semblance of kindness will leave Aris wondering why? Have I done anything that warranted this? Do you wish something in return?

Occasionally, she will ask this aloud, a deadpan- almost sorrowful- look in her eyes.

Due to this, Aristella is known for her amazing sense of "courtesy"- unless she wants something from you, that is; however, don't believe she is manipulative, Ari simply adds everyday manners into her disposition. Her opinions are all out there nearly all the time, and if you dislike it...then you can deal with it. She would much rather interact with people who also do like she does, and push dragons who don't away, just to save herself from all the drama and heartbreak.

A skilled metal-worker, and an amazing errand-girl, she is always busying herself. Aris doesn't believe in being unproductive, as taught by Ana, and will scold others for being lazy. If you are a stranger, and bluntly state you want something made... Aristella will likely make it for you. Meanwhile, if you are somebody who is continuously nice to her, she may assume this is why you're attempting to befriend her; why not butter up the smithy girl so she can make me free stuff? Perfect plan! Not. She has caught onto you and will snappily refuse the order.

Aristella is commonly seen discussing matters with her father, following Valleryae around, or not at all. She is often in the smithery, forging armor and apparel.
