His brother was a utterly boring dragon who never needed protecting to begin with, leaving Sohel with little to do. He became a great conversationalist; his only companion for much of his younger life was Autarith, who sure as hell wasn't going to respond, so Sohel practiced speaking. He is also more educated than the average guardian, and loves a good time. He finds the Expanse utterly boring, but his brother likes it, so here he is. Desperate for stories and to show off, one might describe him as a frat boy with a heart of gold.
