Biography
Leslie
The small fae ducked and dodged around the other dragons in the sky, humming a tune cheerfully under his breath. His voice was deep for a fae, and rich too. His bright red and pink scales flashed in the sunlight as he zoomed around the sky, no clear destination in mind. A small mith, no bigger than he himself was fluttered after him, having a great deal more difficulty keeping up. The fae made a noise that sounded like a small cough, but a fae would know it to be a soft chuckle.
Vanilla runes flashed in sequence along his flanks as the fae slowed to allow his companion to catch up. The mith, exhausted, made an annoyed chittering noise as it pulled up beside him. The fae made the coughing noise again and tittered something back. As he spoke the strange language, the runes around his face lit up and glowed as well as they could in the blinding sunlight. The mith huffed and twitched it's feelers, fluttering its wings.
Finally the two pulled up to land on a small floating rock above the forest below. The fae stretched his talons in the soft green and pink grass. His frills perked up as he closed his eyes, the equivalent of a relaxed expression taking over his features as he spread himself out in the grass, stretching to his not impressive length. He stretched out his neck and sneezed, the grass tickling his nose. He uncurled his tail, and stretched his wings out to either side of him. The mith sat beside him, making a small disgruntled chirping noise before pulling out some sort of book and writing in a strange language. The fae made another noise, before continuing to hum quietly to himself. What a lovely day.
A little fae with heart in paw
Flew through the magic rocks. His little mith flew quickly with To catch up to his haste. Perhaps he'd find a spot to drink Some tea and have a chat. Or maybe he'd be simply free To wait for change to pass. A wondrous thing, a patient fae, Who sits in quiet thought. I wonder does he think of love? Or simply waits his turn? He waits and waits For time to pass, Holds his plans Close to his chest. He waits to see which way The western wind does blow. He waits for those who cannot wait To tumble down their steeper slope. |
Quiet days,
where the spring breeze sings, memories blur in the clouds, and your face burns in my mind the summer birds sing, never silent unlike my time. Wonderful poem by Sumoru |
