 BIOGRAPHY XXXOriginally from the Tangled Woods, Pip was from the same colony of Fae as his friend Prosper. When Prosper disappeared and didn't come back, Pip got curious and went looking for him. After a lengthy search, he found Prosper in Calyx Coven, being nursed back to health by Mellisistrata after he'd been attacked. Though Pip asked what happened, Prosper said he didn't want to talk about it. While waiting for his friend to recover, Pip stayed in the Tavern. He was originally going to return to the Tangled Woods, but when he found out Prosper was staying in Calyx Coven he decided to stay, too. XXXDespite his bright white scales, Pip is extremely good at hiding. The small amount of magic he is able to wield allows him to blend into his surroundings. He is one of the best Scouts in the Coven because of his ability to disappear. However, Pip only keeps a look out for any danger. If it comes to a fight, he'll disappear and go find the bigger Scouts and Guards to deal with the danger. XXXPip is overly protective of his mate, Staraxia. He tries to help her and make sure she doesn't do anything too strenuous. Staraxia tends to end up coming to Pip's rescue instead because he's the one who actually needs help. Being so naïve and gullible, Pip often gets himself into trouble without realizing it. His monotonous way of speaking throws off many of the other Coven members, and if they take his words too literally (or the wrong way) then Pip ends up in hot water. Staraxia easily placates the other dragons with apologies and a few jokes to ease the tension. XXXSince he's so small and hides himself with magic, Pip often accidentally startles other dragons. He doesn't mean to. He can't help the fact that he doesn't make much noise or that he subconsciously uses his ability to blend in. Staraxia tries to remind him to make plenty of noise when around other dragons, but he gets so lost in thought that he forgets and ends up scaring his fellow Coven members anyway. XXXPip has a painted porcelain jar that he likes to keep his trinkets in. Most of the time it is full of insects for him to munch on when he is hungry, but sometimes he'll stash bits of broken pots, colorful leaves, pretty flowers, or other neat little things he finds while out scouting the territory. When the jar gets too full of stuff, he'll dump it out and either throw away things or put them out on display on the shelves of the home he shares with Staraxia. XXXHazel is Pip's Brown-Spotted Mith Familiar. He was introduced to the Mith by Forius, the Clan's Healer who mainly deals with healing creatures. Forius was helping Hazel learn to fly again after he'd done surgery to repair her torn wing. Pip admired the Mith for her strength and told Forius he was delighted that she was getting a second chance. Forius asked Pip if he'd like to take care of the rest of Hazel's recovery, as she was nearly mended and he could use the extra space for another creature in need of his help. Pip readily agreed. When it came time for Hazel to leave though, she refused to do so. Today, she lives with Pip and Staraxia. |
