Biography
Carne is an ex cult leader. She was dispatched by former rivals of her parents shortly after she’d taken their place as the cult’s Priestlord. Despite her brief reign over a sizable faction, she remains somewhat inexperienced because of her youth. She’s come to the Ice Field to turn over a new leaf together with Eryens, her only remaining follower and lifelong companion.
Despite her fearsome appearance Carne can be quite caring, she values the friends she has made. She’s a realist who goes with the flow and is never bothered by setbacks for long. To dragons who don’t know her well she can come across as haughty and full of herself.
Eryens and Carne didn’t arrive at the Southern Icefield via the common traveling routes, but set their own course through the sky. They landed some way east of the Snowsquall Outpost, where they settled in an abandoned pinegrove. Euruss, a nocturne bandit active in the area, was the first to come across the pair, but didn’t make his presence known right away. He sought out the small nearby clans he traded with, who would back him up while he approached the possible danger. Upon talking to the imperial it became apparent that she hadn’t come to conquer or spread viruses (the Southern Icefield isn’t kind to diseases anyway), but simply wished to start a new life for herself and her companion. The local clans remained cautious though, the nocturne was the only one to give her the benefit of the doubt.
Through Euruss Carne learned about the region and the dragons living there. She wasn’t interested in joining any clans as she doesn't like the idea of following a leader. However, she sought out the trader’s post on Eryens insistence and now frequently drops by.
