Quill

Found and adopted as a hatchling, Quill has always been quiet and reserved. She acts as a stealth-focused messenger, skilled enough with camouflage and foraging to survive even the harshest of climates. While not as swift as most traditional messengers, Sadness has a reputation for delivering all her messages unnoticed.

When there are no messages to deliver, Quill uses her stealth to sneak into concerts held by one of Sornieth's many traveling bands. Though every style of music has a place in her heart, she has a certain fondness for a loud, fast-paced genre originating from Dragonhome known as punk rock.

When something ancient returned to the world, Quill felt it. It thrummed in her very bones, ran through her veins until it reached her heart. She began to change. Frost gathered on her fur, shrinking her wings, growing out her fur, and building on to her antlers.

This is her true form. A child of the ancients. A Gaoler.

Though it took her some time to get used to the changes (who knows how many times she knocked her antlers against a doorway or a low tree branch), this new form feels... Liberating.

While Quill is still remarkably stealthy for a dragon of her size, a Gaoler isn't exactly going to remain unnoticed in any crowd. As such, Quill has traded out her strategy of sneaking into concerts in favor of applying to work as a peacekeeper, stopping fights from breaking out on the floor or keeping crazed fans from leaping onstage. The extra treasure is enough to buy tickets for any concert she doesn't get hired for.
