"Turn the friggin' frogs gay"

Much to the dismay of the rest of the clan, Dartfrog was born with a need to rebel and an unfortunate compulsion to hurl things into the Wyrmwound. She was given her name when her claws became irradiated from spending so much time perfecting her hobby. anything or anyone she touches either gets burned or acquires a very itchy chemical rash. Strangely, frogs seem to be immune to her touch so she has acquired a menagerie of them to keep her company and receive her affections.
When she is not hunched over the Wyrmwound with her goggles on she can be found collecting more objects, setting fires in worrying places, making fireworks to give to hatchlings or perhaps most notably, inventing strange and unique technological devices. Many of these devices proved to be extremely beneficial to dragon-kind, even curing dragons of the deadliest diseases or printing endless piles of treasure. Well, I should said were proved to beneficial as Dartfrog only built them to hurl them all into the Wyrmwound anyway.

"This is Hallowe'en, everybody make a scene."

"Is it Hallowe'en yet?!" , Scarecrow excitedly asks you. From all around you hear groans, palms hitting faces and even someone bursting into tears. It is not Hallowe'en. Infact, it's almost never Hallowe'en. Only one day out of 365 in a year is it Hallowe'en.
"No, it is not Hallowe'en!" a nearby dragon shrieks. You get the feeling Scarecrow asks this question quite often. No one really knows why this old Wildclaw loves Hallowe'en so much. Every single year he goes as the same thing - a Scarecrow. He prepares 364 days in advance for this role by standing completely still in fields and yelling boo at any birds that land nearby. They are never scared of him but this doesn't put him off. "One day they will be!" he says to you, a determined gleam in his eye.

"The world might do me in, it's alright 'cause I'm with friends."

Friendship is not something that comes naturally to everybody and for Eyelash that could not be more true. As much as her colours make her stand out she could never quite find the right words to say to people even though she so desperately wanted to speak to them. As a result, this awkward Wildclaw spent most of her life lonely.

That was until she discovered her love for chemistry and things she could create. Most notably - "fireworks". By putting on these brilliant and colourful displays of flowers in the night sky, Eyelash drew crowds of dragons from all over who marvelled at her creations and eventually became her friend, ending the loneliness that plagued most of her life.

"Well, I talk about it, talk about it, talk about it, talk about it."

Wilderjem doesn't know what he wants, what he is or where he's going at any point in his day. He just zooms around in a torrent of painfully bright colours and alarms any who happens across him. For some reason he carries a basket of orchid posies, which doesn't make much sense because orchids grow on vine-like stems and are quite hard to keep alive or even use in floristry but there you go. Wilderjem doesn't know where he got them - don't ask. It usually makes him cry. He does love to give them to people though but the trouble is ,once you happily accept one he gets a bit overexcited and then offers you another, then another.. then another and yet again - another.

There are rumours that deep within the forest of Garden's Gate there's a giant brightly coloured bird that screams and lays orchid flowers. I'm sure you can guess why that is.
And yeah, he hasn't yet figured out how to leave.

"Live those dreams, scheme those schemes."

On the dance floor, prismatic under the disco lights, he is God. The Rainbow Tornado they call him, fastest feet in the west.
But to his biggest fans he is known as Stallion, a fire dragon who's burning passion for dance grew into such a wild flame his own eyes caught on fire. Or so the legend goes.

Once an upstart young dancer, Stallion gained notoriety for his gimmick of only performing exclusively to 80's pop and dance hits. However, that small rise to fame soon flourished into legend status when he invented his iconic dance move - Dancer's Inferno. Utilizing his fire elemental magic at the crescendo of his dance he would burst into rainbow flames, scattering a kaleidoscope of embers and sparks into the crowd. A move no dragon has successfully replicated since but so, so many have tried.

Whilst nowadays he is mainly preoccupied with his fashion line, occasionally naïve dragons will step up to challenge his reign as the Lord of Dance - but all have fallen beneath the tail twirls and foot flurries that have caused so many to faint in awe.

It is the break of dawn in the Wandering Jungle and the giant Stag, Fayaib, is just rousing from his slumber. High up in the boughs of his sky-sprawling antlers sits the little spiral, Morning. As the sun peeks it's head over the trees, Morning let's out a tiny squeak of excitement before quietly shushing herself and looking around to make sure she hasn't woken anyone.
This is an important daily ritual for Morning, even in the most overcast of dawnbreaks she is always up and watching for the first rays of daylight to touch Sornieth.
Why? You might ask. Wouldn't a few more hours of sleep be better?
There is something the early-bird gains from the dawn that the night owl can perhaps never understand. The beauty of sky, the charm of the birdsong and most importantly the promise of a day filled with opportunity, adventure and fun.

"Daydream, I fell asleep amid the flowers..."

At exactly 11 o'clock every morning, the wind flows through the meadows of the Heartlands in such a way that the bluebells start to ring and the tall grass whispers a song. A dragon well acquainted with this phenomenon is Bluebell. If the singing flowers were an orchestra, she would be their conductor. She knows every single flower from the petal to the stem and more importantly, where exactly to stand to conduct the air currents in such a way that any song can be played.

The result is a very brightly coloured dragon twirling around the meadows to flowersong.

"Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble.."

In the lower boughs of the great fairy tree, Shimmer, you'll find a single branch that stands out amongst the overgrowth of the others. The branch itself is twisted into a spiral shape, giving the appearance of a coiled snake and the few leaves it still sports are black and dotted with unnatural glowing spots. In the centre of it's ominous coils sits a ramshackle home made out of walnut shells and ash wood - this is where the witch-veil, Vampire, resides.

Only the desperate are brave enough to visit the infamous Vampire. Distraught dragons looking for a cure for their family, spurned admirers wanting to slip a love potion to their fixation, even greedy princes looking to boost their chances for the throne. Few leave with what they were looking for and even fewer leave at all, caught in the belly of her ever-hungry cauldron, CuFe.

"I've never really ever met a normal person"

One day in the depths of Slimereach a Mother Slime came across a curious translucent green egg which she, mistaking it for one of her own brood, quickly took back to her nest to put with her clutch. So how surprised she was when that green egg hatched into a baby pearlcatcher. Unperturbed by this strange hatchling, the mother slime raised the baby dragon with her family of slimes as if she were her own and named her Loon.
Loon, who never knew any different, happily grew up in Slimereach among the slimes and even grew to develop the traits and bioluminescence of the under-dweller creatures herself.
That all changed one day when a group of Slime Farming Bogsneaks came across Loon and was shocked to find a dragon living happily so far down. Loon was also just as shocked by these Bogsneaks that were capturing and farming her friends and families of slimes. Loon quickly jumped into the role of Envoy of the Slimes and became a representative and advocate for the well-treatment of the slimes in the Heartlands.

Whilst her office operates out of St. Rosie's Chapel she frequently visits the Slimereach where she feels most at home
