Flicker is the daughter of the clan ambassador and the local food enthusiast, making her a very well liked and talented chef for The Phoenix Allegiance. She never forgets a recipe, has an excellent sense of smell, and has learned many tricks with ingredients ever since she started cooking when she was younger; she’s often seen covered in the very ingredients she was going to use for the latest meal at that! While she was born an Arcane dragon, being half firebird has its perks as she can breathe fire for her stoves with ease. However this ability isn’t one that’s often seen as Flicker prefers to cook meals than bake them, unless Jane is around to give some very appreciated help. But most of the time Flicker prefers to simply use a phoenix feather for heat, it’s a convenient solution for easy stovetop cooking and a lovely gift from her mother. But there are times when she can go just a bit too wild in her kitchen and bake far more than her clan actually needs, the first time this happened it was a genuine accident that made her feel a bit bad when the food got spoiled before they could enjoy it. But the second time she was given permission to share the food with an allied clan as a peace offering, and she immediately knew exactly where she wanted to go. Flicker has a younger brother named Flame, who despite being younger is a lot bigger than she is as an Imperial compared to a Skydancer, but do you think this stops Flicker from teasing him? Absolutely not, and would she pass up on the chance to bother him in his new clan? Not in a million years. It’s a long flight from the Starfall Isles to the Windswept Plateau, but Flame’s face everytime she shows up on the path to his home is priceless to her. The Tempest Dynasty doesn’t mind her visiting for a second either, their chef is always happy to have a competent assistant or just a day off from cooking. While everyone else is off enjoying the latest special from the land of Arcane, Flicker is off messing up Flame’s mane while he tries to swat her away like a fly; it never works. But at the end of the day she’s always happy to return to her own little space in the clan lair and curl up on a heated rock for some well-earned rest, sometimes even tucking her head under her wing just like her mother does.
