Ranmir Opalheart

| Deeply passionate about his work, Ranmir spends most of his time in the alchemist's cave with his close friend, Bia, and their mentor, Styx. He enjoys working with the excitable fae, even if his general lack of organization drives Ranmir nuts- Every time Ranmir manages to re-organize their notes, he finds that they've been scattered about once again shortly after. Thus, in lieu of relying on their written notes, Ranmir keeps many pearls with information on their various experiments within, organized on their own shelf in the cave. He is the voice of reason of the trio, though, other dragons may be hard-pressed to believe that, seeing as though he is still rather eccentric seeming to most dragons- He's just more level-headed than Bia or Styx. |

| Ranmir is never out and around without his elbow-length rubber gloves on. The reason isn't something he likes talking about, being rather self-conscious about it. His arms were quite literally burned down to the bone in an accident in the cauldron that left both him and Bia disfigured, when Bia slipped and fell into the cauldron. He hides his skeletal hands underneath his gloves, rather than try to explain what happened to the dragons around him. Despite the setback, he does still enjoy perusing alchemy alongside Bia, though he is much more careful now than he was in the past because of the experience- perhaps even too careful, seeming hesitant to mix some of their more experimental brews now. |
