Biography
[Named after the lead female in the ballet The Firebird.]
Firebird has the ability to control and/or unleash wildfires. She understands that fires are essential for restoring the balance of nature, and so she monitors the clan's territory and decides when and where fire is needed to keep the ecosystem healthy. Whenever one of her fire's takes place, all of the clan's hunters come out for the event. As the forests transform into a raging inferno, a multitude of prey will inevitably be pushed out of the area being burned... and into the waiting talons of the hungry hunters and huntresses. Since Firebird is from the Wind Realm, she has some control over the winds and can therefore control her fires by preventing embers from spreading and decimating entire forests. After each of her controlled burns, Firebird hosts a clan feast and all of the prey killed as a result of her fire are honored in a sacred dance she performs in front of the entire clan. After her dance of respect is complete, all clan members eat their fill and then dance and drink Kataware's sake, marking a memorable (or not so memorable, depending on how much they drink) night.
Although Firebird has a kind and caring side, her fiery and passionate personality usually dominates. She always treats nature with the utmost respect, but when it comes to other dragons getting in her way or doing things that annoy her... let's just say she's not afraid of confrontation. Some dragons in the clan appreciate her blunt honesty, but others grow weary of her fiery antics and find themselves avoiding her when they can't take the heat.
Current Rank: F34
