Biography


Cairnestone came to this forest to spread the word of the Earthshaker to whom she is devoutly loyal. Arkar wanted to exalt her to the Gladekeeper, but was prevented by the fact that Cairnestone outweighs her by rather a lot. The snapper simply had to curl up in a ball, in order to become an immobile mass of rocky scales. Eventually Arkar gave up trying to exalt or evict Cairnestone, and hoped the earth dragon would go away on her own. This has not happened. Cairnestone seems to enjoy annoying Arkar, simply by staying in one place and doing nothing.

Cairnestone has a scaleback as a familiar, and claims the animal reminds her of her home. She had plenty of patience to deal with the animal’s natural irritability and thick enough scales that its bites can’t hurt her. Cairnestone uses the same patience and thick skin to deal with the nonbelievers she now lives with.
