The General

Slattern came to Clan Sheametra as a wandering orphan, and at Sheatrima's dubious mercy. Rather than slay the intruder, Sheatrima saw something in the runty Ridgeback, and took him under her wing. He was raised like a brother to Thasa, but as Sheatrima's cruelty took root, he quashed his filial fondness, already following Sheatrima's destructive path.

As he grew, Sheatrima's gaze was always felt. Slattern saw a side of her that few have survived; she loved him. It was a selfish, covetous love, and young Slattern was foolhardy enough to believe he might take advantage of it. Sheatrima made him a general and a father in rapid succession, unaware of how fickle his affections truly were.

Whether it was fair or not, his Oedipal affair with Sheatrima earned him his clanmates distaste, and his incompetence would be funny, were it not so embarrassing. Regardless, Sheatrima keeps him around for his pretty face, convinced of his fealty, until the day she is proven wrong.
